Dr. Dale Jung took over Huntington Beach Endodontics in 2018. Dr. Jung 
was raised in Orange County, CA. He attended Pomona College in 
Claremont, CA and graduated with a degree in Biology. Following college, 

Dr. Jung spent two years at the National Institute of Dental and 
Craniofacial Research in Bethesda, Maryland where he studied human 
salivary gland development and authored or co-authored a few papers.
Dr. Jung then moved back to California to attend UCLA School of 
Dentistry to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr. Jung pursued his 
interested in the field of endodontics at the New York University 
College of Dentistry where he earned his certification in Endodontics.

Dr. William Y. Chen took over Huntington Beach Endodontics in 2018. 
Sunny Hills Endodontics, located in Fullerton, CA is Dr. Chen’s first 
practice which he has had since 2008. Dr. Chen believes in keeping up 

with the cutting edge of dentistry, incorporating new methods, equipment 

and techniques, such as dental microscopes and digital radiography,

to improve treatment outcomes and comfort. In 1994, Dr. Chen

entered UCLA School of Dentistry, where he received both his DDS

degree and his Hospital Dentistry certificate. After practicing general dentistry

for a few years, he followed his passion for endodontics and was accepted

to USC Endodontic Residency program in 2002. Since graduating in 2004,

he has also held multiple teaching positions at both UCLA and USC.

Dr. Jeffrey Kawilarang earned his dental degree from the University of 

the Pacific in San Francisco. After practicing general dentistry for four

years, he decided to pursue his passion for endodontics. He then 
successfully completed the endodontic residency program at the 
University of the Pacific, and also earned a Master’s of Science

degree in dentistry. He takes pride in providing the highest standard of 

professional care in a friendly and comfortable manner.
