General Information

Dr. Andelin received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Georgetown University in 1984.  Following dental school, Dr. Andelin established a General Practice in Simi Valley, California.  In 1995 Dr. Andelin joined the Navy and was selected to receive advanced education and training in Endodontics in 2000 at Loma Linda University.  He completed a 2-year graduate program in Endodontics and received a Master of Science in Endodontics from Loma Linda University in 2002.  While in attendance, Dr. Andelin was nominated for inclusion in the National Dean's List honoring students of superior achievement who are in the upper 10 percent of their classes.

Dr. Andelin is a member of the American Dental Association, The California Dental Association, The Orange County Dental Society, and a Specialist Member of the American Association of Endodontists.  He has presented research projects both locally and nationally and has co-authored/authored several published papers.  His thesis research was featured on the cover of the Journal of Endodontics.

Dr. Andelin joined the practice with Dr. Schulze in 2004 and has recently taken over as owner of Huntington Beach Endodontics as of September 1, 2010.  Dr. Schulze continues to treat patients 1-2 days a week.

Dr. Andelin and his wife Suzann have four adult children and eight grandchildren.

Dr. Schulze took his undergraduate studies at Pacific Union College in the Napa Valley.  He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1972, where he was chosen to receive the American Association of Endodontist Student Achievement Award in his senior year. After graduating, he practice General Dentistry in Sacramento, California, then returned to Loma Linda where he taught in the Restorative Department at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.  But Endodontics was his true love.  He entered the 2-year Graduate Endodontic program at Loma Linda University, and graduated with a Master of Science Degree, Specialty in Endodontics, in 1976.  He has been practicing Endodontics in Huntington Beach for over 32 years.

Dr. Schulze is a member of the American Dental Association, The California Dental Association, The Orange County Dental Society, and is a Specialist Member of the American Association of Endodontists.

Having served the community of Huntington Beach for over 32 years, Dr. Schulze recently sold his practice to Dr. Andelin as of September 1, 2010.  Partially retired, he continues to treat patients1-2 days a week.

Dr. Schulze and his wife Lahoma have three adult sons.

Patty is usually the first person you will meet when you call or enter our office.  She has been our Front Office Manager and Receptionist for nearly 20 years.  She is great with people and is an excellent communicator with patients, referring offices and insurance companies.

Sheryl has been with us since 1995, and doubles as Front Office Receptionist and Operatory Assistant.  Sheryl graduated from Southern California College of Dental Assisting with an RDA in 1983.  She came to our office with 12 years of experience.  She is terrific with people.  Her professionalism and warm smile will immediately put you at ease.

Margaret joined our staff in 2004 has been an Operatory Assistant in our office for seven  years, and comes to us with a background of two previous years in endodontic assisting.  She is a valued and very experienced member of our team.  Her warmth and light-hearted attitude are infectious, and will put a smile on your face.
